16th Manaragat Festival

Now on our 16th year already, Manaragat Festival has grown from being a town fiesta and religious activity to a convergence of cultural extravaganza and environmental awareness.

Initiated in 2004 as a month-long observance in honor of Patron Saint, Señor San Bartolome and officially became ‘Manaragat Festival’ in 2007 and further institutionalized in 2018 through City Ordinance No. 2018-015, this celebration advocates for cultural preservation through the many competitions and performances and environmental protection as carried by ambassadors and ambassadresses of the city making it more relevant in today’s world.

Whether you’re in for the cultural performances every night or for the food and merriment brought by the concessionaires at the plaza, or the beauty pageants with a cause or even the band performances of guest artists, Catbaloganons really know how to throw a fiesta!

For 2019, expect more bands and more performances brought to by the City Government of Catbalogan headed by City Mayor Dexter M. Uy through the Office of the City Tourism, Culture, Arts and Information.

Viva Señor San Bartolome!
Viva Manaragat!
Viva Catbalogan City!
