Air Juan tests flight at Catbalogan Airport

Today, March 06, 2018, officers of Air Juan and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) were in Catbalogan Buri Airport for its TEST FLIGHT prior to its official maiden flight scheduled next week.
The group flew in from Cebu City via Biliran, which took around more than an hour with the said stopover.
It was revealed that if any schedule bound to and from Catbalogan will be booked in full, there will be no need to stop at Biliran and thus would only take fifty (50) minutes for the whole direct trip.
Impressed with the stunning view of the whole island and the good condition of the airport compared to other airports where they operate, the assessing representatives from CAAP and from Air Juan only requested that all entry and exit points around the airport must be closed for at least an hour before any scheduled flights to avoid any untoward incidents.
This was further emphasized because they are positive that although there will be just two (2) flights per week for now, the frequency may increase and may even include other destinations in the coming months.
Present during the assessment were local representatives from the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Catbalogan City Auxillary Traffic Brigade – CCATB, and from the Office of the City Tourism, Culture, Arts and Information who facilitated the activity.
The Air Juan maiden flight is scheduled on March 17, 2018 and scheduled flights will be every Saturdays and Mondays of every week and complete air fares and other details at (
