Filipino Food Month 2022

Puto para han mga nagpa-uto! 🤭🍴

The City Tourism, Culture, Arts and Information Office (CTCAIO) through the local campaign dubbed as #KarasaKatbalogan, features the various delectable cuisines loved by Catbaloganon as part of the 2022 Filipino Food Month.

Anchored on this year’s theme “Pagkaing Pilipino, Susi sa Pag-unlad at Pagbabago” emphasizes the efforts to promote, preserve, and ensure the transmission of vast Filipino culinary traditions to the present and future generations, as well as to provide support to farmers, fisher folks, and to the rest of the agricultural and aqua cultural communities.

This annual celebration is promulgated by virtue of Presidential Proclamation no. 469 signed in 2018 that designated April of every year as Filipino Food Month or Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino.

Food is indeed life and this month is the month for all the foodies out there, so let’s celebrate and promote our local dishes and culinary heritage.
