In the recently concluded seminar workshop conducted by TAkarang DULaan ng KAmalayan (TADULKA) in coordination with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office last April 24-26, 2014 held at Samar State University, the Catbalogan participants to the DCW Integrated Theater Arts Drama Seminar Workshop in Acting, Scriptwriting, Directing and Stage Production took home majority of the titles of the said activity.

The said team bagged Best Director, Best Set Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Play, Best Musical Play and Best Group among other categories.

They bested other teams coming from different municipalities under the whole Samar Province during the said two-day theatre arts drama workshop.

The team personally extended their courtesy call with Mayor Stephany Uy-Tan last April 28, 2014

to report the good news and to turn-over the certificate of recognition issued by the organizers to Mayor Step for the favourable consideration and kind response in facilitating, enhancing and making possible the conduct of the said seminar workshop.

Mayor Step congratulated the team of daycare workers and barangay nutrition scholars for making the city proud. “Truly, Catbaloganons are talented and can excel in many activities as long given the right opportunities and support” say Mayor Step.
