City conducts BEST Game among cooperatives and micro entrepreneurs

It is general knowledge that most of the cooperatives are operating their businesses in a trial and error system. This practice is no longer advisable if the coop desires to have a sustainable business operation. At present, many investors are willing to engage in an entrepreneurial endeavor and risk viable investment because some of them seek the assistance of business consultant. Smart investors have learned where to go in case one has planned or desires to invest in an entrepreneurial activity and in most cases DTI got its credibility as the primary agency knowledgeable enough in this aspect.

For the many existing micro entrepreneurs in Samar whose primary concern at present focuses on the survival instinct, this training of business expense training is highly recommendable because hiring business consultant that will aid them in their day to day activity will be very costly.

More than 50 participants attended the said training last May 22 – 23, 2014 from different cooperatives and other micro entrepreneurs.

Cooperatives with livelihood assistance projects were prioritized in the said training for viability and sustainability of their organisations.

The training provided knowledge, skills and attitude in operating their respective businesses following the principles of BEST Game, and acquire new technique in the executions of the different business operating system during the two day training, perform accurately in the preparation of cash book, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow, record their own business operation in a simplified cash book, and identify necessary changes in their own business operation.
