The course is one of the mandatory training curricula prescribed by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) pursuant to Republic Act 9520 and Rule 7, Section 5 of its Implementing Rules and Regulation, and in consonance to Memorandum Circular No. 2011-11-01 dated February 22, 2011.

40 participants attended the said two-day training, which discussed topics on files administration, records disposition administration, records centre administration, archives management and security of records, inventory of records, appraisal of records, records security, classification of records, protecting records and documents, and other policies.

Upon completion of the course, the participants shall be able to adopt and apply knowledge, skills and attitude in the proper records maintenance and management including proper process of disposition of records and establish policies for preventive and protective measures.
