City Health Office readies supplies and manpower for evacuation centers

The Office of the City Health headed by Dr. Gerarda Tizon has already started yesterday November 06, 2013 preparing items in time for Typhoon Yolanda. Items include medicines, first aid kits, and several medical supplies to be utilized for the different evacuation centers.

On November 07, 2013, a meeting was called for by Dr. Tizon for the deployment of their staffs and medical teams to assigned at different evacuation centers.

Currently there are 3 Medical Doctors, 6 Nurses, 11 Rural Health Midwives,

5 Rural Sanitary Inspectors and 2 Ambulance Drivers. Inventory reports the availabillity of the following medicines: Paracetamol/Analgesic, Antibiotics, Anti Hypertension, Oral Rehydration Solution, Fluids, Macroset, Intravenum Cannulas, Chlorine Granules, Betadine, OS Sterile, and others.
