As part of her efforts to promote culture and arts especially among the young people of Catbalogan City, Hon. Mayor Stephany Uy-Tan has tied up with Region 8’s Artist-in-Residence Odon Sabarre in opening a Summer Dance Learning Workshop.

A renowned dance expert who has enjoyed a colourful career in ballet, Sabarre, a native of Calbiga, Samar has agreed to this partnership with the City Government of Catbalogan in a bid to revive the culture of dance among the young minds of Catbalogan City.
