Impersonation Contest

The sixth day of the Manaragat Festival Month-long Fiesta Celebration catered to impersonating enthusiasts. Paulmar Parambita, beat fourteen (14) other contestants with his interpretation of the song “It’s Raining Men” as performed by former Spice Girl Gerry Halliwell.

Placing second was Zoren Orale who impersonated comedian Yoyoy Villame with his rendition of the novelty song “Butsikik” and settling in the third place is Albert Cabreza who made an impressive dance to the tune of Michael Jackson’s “Billy Jean”.

Each contestant was given up to three minutes to perform their routine and was allowed to join more than once as a different celebrity or personality. The criteria for judging were accuracy of impersonation – 30%, costume – 30%, stage presence and delivery – 30% and audience impact – 10%.
