By virtue of Executive Order No. 21 series of 2013 setting aside the implementation guidelines of the Hunger Mitigation Rice Subsidy Program specifically on its target beneficiaries for Calendar Year 2013 and through SP Resolution No. 2013-096 expressing the collective support of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of this City to EO No. 21, the City Government of Catbalogan is already rolling out its implementation of the said program to the 18,000 households in the city, each household receiving 9 kilos of rice.
