Mister and Miss Manaragat candidates undergo training

A workshop was organized among the candidates of Mister Manaragat: The Search for Mister Catbalogan City and Miss Manaragat: The Search for Miss Catbalogan City last July 22, 2019 at Lucas Wharf by the City Tourism, Culture, Arts and Information Office (CTCAIO).

Topics and workshops covered were on tourism, cultural heritage, social media, effective communication, as well as tips and techniques on answering the dreaded question and answer portion in pageants.

Reigning Miss Manaragat, Ms. Leslie Anne Pomida and Mister Manaragat, Mr. Jaztin Lee Sabong also shared their experience and insights during their one year reign as Catbalogan City’s ambassador and ambassadress of cultural preservation and environment protection.

The said activity was part of the enhancement initiatives to better equip candidates to be more aware on our cultural identity as well as the advocacy on environmental protection while enhancing their platform skills and public speaking skills, molding them not just to be candidates but to be partners in helping Catbalogan City be better and to do better.
