Young artists converge at Cabugawan Eco Park for Statistics Month

The most captivating way to end the 29th National Statistics Month Celebration is to witness our young artists join in the On-the-Spot Poster-Making Contest in the heart of the Cabugawan Eco Park.

Nineteen (19) students and out-of-school youths from different barangays in Catbalogan City gathered in the mangrove area for the said activity.

The fresh air and the mangroves in their background have inspired the participants to create artworks that talk about “Eco-Tourism and Statistics.”

The theme reflects on the role of reliable statistics and factual information in achieving sustainable tourism growth in Catbalogan City, highlighting the Cabugawan Eco Park that served as the venue for the art event.

With her message during the closing program this afternoon, Mayor Stephany Uy-Tan were very happy to see the youth being involved in nation building through artistic activities. “Hinaot unta nga mas mapaupay pa an iyo mga talento pinaagi hin sugad hini nga mga buruhaton nga gin-oorganisa namon ha The City Government of Catbalogan para ha iyo nga mga kabataan,” she said.
